A case of trafficking in heroin which carried the death penalty. Representations were made and the charge was reduced to a non-capital one. Altogether he was charged for 4 drug offenses and 12 other charges taken into consideration. He was sentenced to a total 29 years imprisonment. No caning because of his age.
